SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
We create software to improve the quality of healthcare. This includes, but is not limited to, patient documentation systems, patient questionnaires, hospital management systems, and medical research software. We aim to use and make sense of data and statistics in a way that helps medical researchers, healthcare providers and by extension, patients, to have better outcomes.
While we do believe that allowing researchers and doctors to have access to vast amounts of information will help improve the quality of healthcare globally, patient privacy will always remain a top priority for us. We aim to improve the availability of information without sacrificing the personal information of patients. Three fields of software development we are specifically interested in:
1. PATIENT DOCUMENTATION SYSTEMS
Titan Data Hub will continue the excellent work that its members have done for previous companies by making more patient documentation systems, such as PRO B Doc and the TuDoc applications. Our hope is for all participating clinics to have these documentation systems as hybrid online/local applications (the main application being fully online and any sensitive patient data being handled by a local installation). These applications will retain the modularity of previously-made ones, allowing flexibility in the studies they can be used for.
We will extend the functionality of these documentation applications as well, such that they can serve our clients better than ever, for example: to visually represent patient treatment history on a diagram so that it is easy for medical professionals and researchers to see a timeline of patient treatment at a glance, adding plausibility checks to further facilitate data capture, and validation of data during documentation in order to ensure data is captured accurately and can benefit the field.
Our dream is for hospital documentation to be improved in many countries, so as to not only facilitate medical studies and research into treatments, therapies, etc. but also improve hospital management.
2. PATIENT QUESTIONNAIRES
We have created PROM (patient reported outcome measure) questionnaires. These are applications in which patients self-document things such as symptoms or how they feel before and after treatment at regular intervals. Our software allows medical professionals to combine data from documentation systems and the data gathered from the PROMs seamlessly, rather than having the two sets of data separate.
Our tumour documentation applications have the capability to use both our own PROM systems, or 3rd-party systems which are imported into our databases.
3. MEDICAL PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT
We have multiple platforms planned that will help to make medical information and studies readily available to patients and doctors alike.
Umweltkrank? Wohin? Is a platform designed for patients to find medical professionals specialised in exactly the field that they require. Additionally, people may also use the platform to find professionals that specialise in ensuring a healthy home or work environment, for example by checking toxicity levels in a location. Our long-term goal for this platform is for it to assist people in any country get the help that they need easily.
ElectroSenses is another platform we’re planning (open access journal) that aims to serve as an audited repository of studies done on the little-known field of electrohypersensitivity. We believe that with time ElectroSenses can help open the world’s eyes to this phenomenon and provide accurate, peer-reviewed information and studies on this topic.
ARTICLE/DISSERTATION WRITING AND EDITING
Medical writing often proves to be an arduous task that can take up a lot of time. Professionals often spend too much time editing or proof-reading their own articles instead of doing medical work.
In Europe, we have seen a problem of doctors wanting to submit an article to an English medical journal when English is not their native language, meaning the articles they write are not as clear or concise as the writer would have liked them to be.
We at Titan Data Hub plan to alleviate this problem by offering editorial services for articles and dissertations. We currently offer this service for English and German articles.
ONCOLOGY CERTIFICATION TRAINING
We have extensive experience in this field, and know very well what a hospital needs to do in order to attain different types of certification.
Our staff have successfully trained multiple hospitals in this regard through ClarData, and we continue to do this at TDH.
We are committed to improving the quality of healthcare and consultation in hospitals in order for them to function better.
RESEARCH
We use the applications we create in order to forward research on various topics in the medical field. We participate in, organise and create clinical and observational studies in various fields, and we do things such as statistical analysis on our own data in order for the field of medicine to gain further insights and thus improve healthcare.
Our aim is to research in the environmental medicine field by copying the principles from oncology research. Our experience in the oncology research field is vast and includes research into all types of cancer, including lung, breast, pancreatic, colorectal, prostate, just to name a few.
We have developed platforms such as PRO B and others that allow medical professionals to quickly access medical studies for purposes of research, treatment determination and oncology certification.
We are also working with research databases with hundreds of thousands of patients, a critical step in determining the appropriate treatment for difficult and late-stage cancer cases.
